On April 29 in Kazan, on the central site of the All-Russian Clean-up “Green Russia” the results of the campaign #ECOspring2017, carried out through social networks, will be summed up. This year, already about 1500 photo and video materials arrived. In the coming days, all the works will be considered by the tender commission of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. 

Gratitude letter for the assistance in holding the forum of active citizens “Community”, which was held in Kazan these days, was presented to the first deputy minister of ecology and natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Kamalov. He participated in the discussion “Ecology: the opportunities for intersectoral interaction between government, business, and NGOs to solve environmental problems”. The forums “Community” are held to identify the state of development of the non-profit sector in the regions of the Russian Federation, discuss existing problems and possible solutions to them, and support the most effective practices of civic engagement.

Health specialists of Tatarstan joined the sanitary-ecological two-month campaign, which is taking place in these days in the republic. Employees of the health department of Naberezhnye Chelny, medical institutions of the city, and students of the Naberezhnye Chelny medical college brought in order the city streets. They cleaned the territory of last year’s foliage, dry branches and debris, removed snowdrifts somewhere.

The year of ecology will unite all the inhabitants of Russia in a good cause. On April 29 in the entire country will be a large clean-up “Green Russia”. The goal is to improve the ecological situation in the settlements. On this day, the action will be held in all cities and regions of Tatarstan. Thousands of residents of the republic will join the action. They will clean areas (separate waste collection will be organized), plant trees and flowers, take part in eco-games, quizzes and various environmental actions. 

Quiz about nature, poems about flora and fauna, ECO contests – ecology lesson in at Almetyevsk school No.7 wasn unusual and interesting. Second-grade students competed with peers in an intellectual game for the title “nature experts”. In addition, they showed their literary and vocal abilities. As part of the event, the kids composed and read poems about the surrounding world, sang folk songs about plants and animals, presented a performance about the careful attitude to natural resources.

Krupskaya, Caryernaya, Uritskogo. These streets are blacklisted by environmentalists. The inspectors of the Volga-Kama territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a raid within the sanitary-ecological two-month campaign in Chistopol. According to the morphological composition of the garbage, the offenders are the inhabitants of the nearby houses. Instead of beautiful lawns, the spring exposed heaps of plastic bags and bottles, paper boxes and other household waste.

Now in Moscow, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Khloponin, the final meeting of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation “On the results of the work of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation in 2016 and tasks for 2017” is held. The keynote speech is made by Minister Sergei Donskoy. Among the key issues are holding events timed to the Year of Ecology in Russia, the waste management system, and minimizing the negative impact on the environment.

Today, the employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held a large-scale clean-up on the Blue Lake in Kazan. Representatives of the administration of the Aviastroitelniy and Novo-Savinovsky districts of the city, participants in the youth movement BUDETCHISTO, and the unindifferent inhabitants of nearby settlements actively joined the environmental action. On the international Earth Day, volunteers cleaned up the coastal zone of the lake, removed debris, deadwood and windfall. 

On April 22 celebrated an international holiday, honoring pure Water, Air, Earth. A day that reminds of environmental disasters to all who lives on the planet, the day when everyone should think about what one personally can do to address pressing environmental issues “here and now”. Annually on this day around the world various actions are carried out aimed on preservation of water, earth resources and other gifts of the nature. On the Blue Lake, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan will hold a large-scale clean up dedicated to the Earth Day.

Mikhail Kozminykh, chairman of the committee of state environmental supervision of the Leningrad region, visited Tatarstan. During the visit the environmental authorities of the Leningrad Region and the Republic of Tatarstan shared the experience. Recall, a corresponding agreement has been signed between the regions. The Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, presented to colleagues projects that are being implemented on the territory of the republic: the work method of territorial administrations, methods for revealing environmental violations, ecological education of the younger generation.
