Colleagues from Leningrad Region noted high level of work of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan in environmental protection

Mikhail Kozminykh, chairman of the committee of state environmental supervision of the Leningrad region, visited Tatarstan. During the visit the environmental authorities of the Leningrad Region and the Republic of Tatarstan shared the experience. Recall, a corresponding agreement has been signed between the regions. The Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, presented to colleagues projects that are being implemented on the territory of the republic: the work method of territorial administrations, methods for revealing environmental violations, ecological education of the younger generation. From the key projects in the work of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan, Mikhail Kozminykh highlighted close interaction with schoolchildren and system of encouraging of state inspectors. “We are very interested in the process of bringing up children. I really liked the eco-themed manuals, notebooks, painting books. There are a lot of projects that we are ready to adopt from our Tatarstan colleagues and to implement in the Leningrad region”, – Mikhail Kozminykh noted. During the meeting, the chairman of the Committee for State Environmental Supervision of the Leningrad Region invited Farid Abdulganiyev to pay a working visit to St. Petersburg. “We will share not only experience, but also tell you what ideas we have adopted from Tatarstan and what we managed to realize during this time”,– said Sergey Kozminykh.
