Today, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, took part in a mass clean-up in the Zelenodolsky district. Together with the chief ecologist of the republic, representatives of the district executive authorities, labor collectives, students and schoolchildren came out to clean the territory. Together, they put in order the strip of the “Kazan-Zelenodolsk” highway, removed debris, windfall and deadwood.

The territory of one of the enterprises of Almetyevsk is littered with garbage – automobile tires, of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap, synthetic materials, old household appliances, construction garbage. The area is 7000 m2. Unauthorized waste disposal was discovered during a helicopter flight. Inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan filed an administrative investigation against the offenders.

On April 22 and 29 residents of Leninogorsk will go out to clean streets and parks of foliage and debris. Details on the all-city clean-up were discussed at a meeting in the city administration. The event was attended by representatives of the executive power of the district, heads of enterprises, the South-East Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Dumps of metals, wood, bricks, rubber tires were recorded by the inspectors of the Zavolzhsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Kaibitsky district. During the check of the sanitary condition of the village of Bolshye Kaybitsy, five unauthorized waste disposal sites were identified.

The exhibition of products made of waste materials was organized by residents of Almetyevsk. They presented more than 40 family exhibits at the “ECO-exhibition” in one of the city parks. The pieces made by the participants were evaluated by specialists from the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the Department of Ecology of Almetyevsky District, participants of the Republican Project “Staff Reserve”, employees of PJSC “Ecoservice”. 

Bicycles and tourist tents are waiting for the Tatarstanians. Prizes will be played out in Kazan, on the central venue of the cleanup. Everyone who has a special flyer of a participant in eco-protection campaign #ECOspring2017 will be able to take part. The flyer can be obtained by support city and district in the general cleaning. It is only necessary to go to the cleanup, take part in an event to clean the territories of debris, inform the environmentalists of the territorial administration (phone numbers are listed below) and become one of the bidders for the main prize. Winners will be determined by the specified seven-digit number, so the flyer must be kept until May 31, 2017.

The kids of the pre-school institution in Buinsk “Altynchech” joined the republican action #ECOspring2017. Within the framework of the event, children and their parents made birdhouses. Making the small houses aroused great interest among children. As the teachers noted, they took an active part in the creative event. 

Schoolchildren from Tatarstan became the winners of the second All-Russian competition of nature protection, environmental education, and creative projects. The event was held by the autonomous non-profit organization “Your Nature” with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia. In 2016/first quarter of 2017 students developed and implemented regional projects in the field of ecology, nature and environment protection. As a result of the contest, 12 Tatarstan schoolchildren became winners in the nomination “Individual Projects Contest – 2017”.

“Preserving nature means saving lives”. Under this slogan, ECO-lesson was held in the Central Library of Buinsk. The schoolchildren of the city took part in the event, presenting to the audience a performance telling about one of the pressing environmental problems – the negative impact of human activities on the environment. As part of the event, the schoolchildren held an environmental quiz, recalled proverbs and sayings about natural resources together with the audience, sang songs about Mother Earth, read poems about the flora and fauna of the native land. 

The inspection of the sanitary condition of the Buinsk district was conducted by the inspectors of the Zavolzhsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The attention of ecologists was attracted by two villages: Bikmurazovo and Nizhniy Narabash. Here, the environmentalists recorded 8 unauthorized waste disposal sites – metal scrap, wood, ferrous metals, car tires.
