Thousands of Tatarstanians to join all-Russian ecological clean-up “Green Russia”

The year of ecology will unite all the inhabitants of Russia in a good cause. On April 29 in the entire country will be a large clean-up “Green Russia”. The goal is to improve the ecological situation in the settlements. On this day, the action will be held in all cities and regions of Tatarstan. Thousands of residents of the republic will join the action. They will clean areas (separate waste collection will be organized), plant trees and flowers, take part in eco-games, quizzes and various environmental actions. Clean-ups will be held in yards, in the territories of educational institutions, trade sites, enterprises of Tatarstan.

Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in the Zainsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 11 months, 5,691 messages were received at the Republican Public Environmental Reception. Of these, 5,315 appeals are 93.3% of all received appeals, which have already been resolved.
During a survey of the territory of the Privolzhsky district of Kazan, inspectors from the Central Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan recorded violations of environmental legislation.
