Since 2019, all major companies being the main polluters in the country – about 300 – should start implementing their technology modernization projects, transition to BAT, said the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia Sergei Donskoy. “Modernization is impossible without the implementation of environmental projects, it is interrelated.

A number of complaints came to the Zavolzhsky territorial department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan about the spread of a specific odour in Buinsk. Specialists of the Inspection of Analytical Control of the Ministry of Ecology took samples of atmospheric air for analyses. As the administrative investigation revealed, the smell came from the north-western part of Buinsk.

Tatarstan students, undergraduates, graduate students, young scientists, environmental experts and representatives of non-profit environmental organizations can take part in the Eighth Youth Ecological Congress “Northern Palmyra”. The event will be held on November 22-24, 2017 in the St. Petersburg Research Center for Environmental Safety of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Within the framework of the Ecological Congress, the following issues will be discussed:

Applications for participation in the photo contest “Wild Nature of Russia 2017”, organized by the Limited Liability Company Moskoutayms, started. The event is aimed at supporting and developing the creative skills of participants and the formation of citizens' interest in studying the geography of Russia. Residents of Russia aged 18+ may participate. A separate "Young Talents" nomination is organized for underage participants.

Until July 30, applications for participation in the contest “Clean Energy to Develop Territories” are accepted. The organizers are the Russian Geographical Society and the Russian Capital Bank. The event is aimed at assisting the beginnings of Russian enterprises in the field of energy efficiency, the development of small renewable and alternative energy plants, and the modernization of heating systems with the improvement of their ecological characteristics.
The participants of the contest can be Russian enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership.

The regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan launched the national contest “Ecology of native land”.

Today the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev took part in celebration of Sabantuy in Krasnoyarsk. He greeted the guests of the holiday on behalf of the State Council and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Minister noted that Sabantuy brings us back to the roots, recalling the enduring values ​​of love for our native land, family hearth, respect for customs.

Leading specialist of the environmental education and public relations department Yulia Safiorova got familiar with the educational project marking that the ‘Forest museum’ plays an important role in the environmental education of the preschoolers. It provides for in-depth learning of natural sites of the motherland, gets children familiar with the flora and fauna, teaches the rules of conduct in the countryside.
