Sergei Donskoy: “Since 2019, about 300 main polluting companies should start implementing their technology modernization projects”

Since 2019, all major companies being the main polluters in the country – about 300 – should start implementing their technology modernization projects, transition to BAT, said the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia Sergei Donskoy. “Modernization is impossible without the implementation of environmental projects, it is interrelated. This is the task in accordance with the law”. The minister noted that modernization will also allow increasing production and making products more competitive.

Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in the Zainsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
