Amateur photographers contest “Wild Nature of Russia 2017” started. Author of the best picture to receive 300,000 rubles

Applications for participation in the photo contest “Wild Nature of Russia 2017”, organized by the Limited Liability Company Moskoutayms, started. The event is aimed at supporting and developing the creative skills of participants and the formation of citizens' interest in studying the geography of Russia. Residents of Russia aged 18+ may participate. A separate "Young Talents" nomination is organized for underage participants.
For participation, it’s necessary to register on the website of the organizer www.nat-geo.ru and send the works before September 30, 2017. Photographs taken in Russia are accepted for the competition in the following categories:
- Nature in black and white (black and white photographs depicting the landscape, animals, plants, or other living organism);
- Landscapes (photos of landscapes of wild nature);
- Underwater survey (images of marine and freshwater flora and fauna made underwater);
- Moms and cubs (photos of gentle relations between mothers and their cubs in the animal world);
- Birds (pictures of birds in their natural habitat);
- Mammals (images of mammals in their natural habitat);
- Protected Russia (photographs depicting the corners of the untouched nature of Russia, protected natural areas (reserves, national parks, nature parks, wildlife sanctuaries, nature monuments, etc.) that do not contain objects of human activity (structures, structures);
- Macro photography;
- From sunset to dawn (photos taken at night time);
- Plants (pictures of plants in their natural environment);
- Mobile photo (photos of wildlife objects of Russia (mammals, birds, insects, plants, etc.), taken on mobile devices, published by participants on personal pages in social networks VKontakte, Facebook and Instagram with added hashtag #DPR2017);
- Photographic history (a story line from a series of photographs (no more than 8);
- Energy of life (photos on how nature manifests itself in the most difficult conditions);
- Urban jungle (the opportunity to show how wild animals adapt to life in the city).
The winner of the photo contest will be determined during the period from October 1 to October 31, 2017. The author of the best picture will receive the main prize - 300,000 rubles.
