Sanitary and ecological inspection along the banks of the river Ik was carried out by the residents of the village of Kzyl-Yar of the Bavly district and specialists of the Priiksky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. They cleaned the territory of dead wood, plastic and glass bottles, and other waste. The total volume of collected garbage was 550 m3. “The Ik River is a transboundary river.

A large-scale environmental campaign will be held on August 4 in the village of Yudino on lake Izumrudnoye. Banks, beach area and the bottom of the lake up to 5 000 sq.m. will be cleaned of debris. A complaint on the terrible smell of sewage was received today in the Zakamsk Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Residents called the hotline and reported that “it's impossible to breathe” on the territory of the Nizhekamsk base of construction inductry. The solid waste landfill of the organization “Landscaping and gardening”, located in Leninogorsk district, is to suspend its activity. This decision was made by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The main reason for the suspension was the absence of a license for handling production and consumption waste. This fact was revealed by the inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and by the employees of the Tatar Environmental Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office during the inspection.
