Campaign “Clean Ik” started in Bavly district

Sanitary and ecological inspection along the banks of the river Ik was carried out by the residents of the village of Kzyl-Yar of the Bavly district and specialists of the Priiksky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. They cleaned the territory of dead wood, plastic and glass bottles, and other waste. The total volume of collected garbage was 550 m3. “The Ik River is a transboundary river. Besides the Republic of Tatarstan, it flows in the Republic of Bashkortostan. In this regard, together with colleagues from Bashkiria, we are carrying out the campaign “Clean Ik”, within the framework of which we plan to bring order on the entire bank strip of the river. In the Republic of Tatarstan, residents of Aznakaevo, Bavly, and Muslyumov districts will come to clean the river Ik,” the specialists of the Priiksky Administration told.

Also this year, with the support of the Priiksky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology, environmental measures were carried out on the banks of the rivers Sula and Kandyzka, the spring Kyzyl Chishma, and two ponds.
