Today the first international conference “Oil refining and oil and gas chemistry of Tatarstan” opened in Kazan. The event is timed to the 24th Tatarstan Oil and Gas and Chemical Forum, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim. The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev addressed the participants and guests of the conference with a welcoming speech.

Today, Tatarstan joined the All-Russian ecological cleanup "Green Russia". A mass event in the republic was held in the territory of the protected area "Blue Lakes". "Saturday cleanups is a long tradition, but in Tatarstan they have a special character, - said the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev. - This year, in the framework of the sanitary and environmental bimonth campaign over 1 million residents of the republic joined to cleanup. Tatarstanis are accustomed to living in cleanliness.

Ecological lessons, excursions to the Kazan Zoo and the Volga-Kama Reserve, planting trees and collecting waste paper. The first lesson about nature was held by Elena Gilmizyanova, the leading specialist of the department of environmental education and interaction of public organizations of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

At once two major environmental activities start in Tatarstan in September. On September 2, the republic will join the All-Russian ecological subbotnik "Green Russia". The campaign will be held on the territory of the republic for the fifth time and will last through September. It will start in Kazan at the "Blue Lakes" Protected Area.

New skills, creative games and outdoor activities: Kazan Gorky Park held the children's ecological fair today attended by more than 1000 people. The knowledge fest was arranged for children by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan in partnership with the local branch of the 'Russian Student Squads' and 'Budet Chisto' youth ecological movement.

Children's Ecological Festival will be held on August 30 at 10:00 in Kazan (in the Central Park of Culture and Leisure named after M. Gorky). Ecological games and cognitive quizzes will be organized, where participants will be able to learn about the unique natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. For young artists, a contest of drawings will be held in different nominations: "Nature of Your Home", "Your Favorite Animal", "The Spirit of Nature".

Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the implementation of environmental projects in 2017. A meeting of the working group was held, which includes deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan and specialists of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic.

Zakamsk Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology received an appeal from residents of Nizhnekamsk. Summer residents complained about a neighbor who installed the mesh fence in the water protection zone, thus preventing free access to the local lake and other garden areas. During the visit of the inspectors a report was drawn up in accordance with Art. 8.12.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation: Non-compliance with the provision of free access of citizens to a public water body and its coastal strip.

Employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, employees of the Department for Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic and the Investigative Committee were united in the work to identify and suppress corruption facts.
