The first lesson about nature was held by Elena Gilmizyanova, the leading specialist of the department of environmental education and interaction of public organizations of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. She told schoolchildren about the unique natural resources of the native land and noted that in the academic year the children will be able to get to know the nature of the republic more closely. To do this, eco-lessons will take place two times a week, to which the employees of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan and activists of public ECO movements will be invited as teachers. Opening of the profile form on the basis of the educational institution was the continuation of the glorious ecological traditions in the gymnasium. In September 1990, an eco-lyceum was established on the basis of an educational institution, and in 1999 the status of a gymnasium with an environmental focus was obtained. As the director of the educational institution, Alexander Morozov, noted, it is in school period that children should be taught to care for nature, so that they become ecologically literate adults. With this in mind, ECO-lessons, nature protection actions and interactive measures for environmental protection are held in Gymnasium No. 3.
