Farid Abdulganiev took part in opening of the 1st international conference “Oil refining and petroleum and gas chemistry of Tatarstan”

Today the first international conference “Oil refining and oil and gas chemistry of Tatarstan” opened in Kazan. The event is timed to the 24th Tatarstan Oil and Gas and Chemical Forum, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim. The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev addressed the participants and guests of the conference with a welcoming speech. He congratulated the staff of the enterprise Nizhnekamskneftekhim on the anniversary and noted that the organization is the face of Tatarstan in the Russian and international arena. “It’s encouraging that the main tasks for the development of the oil and gas chemical complex of Tatarstan are to reduce the environmental burden on the environment, increase energy and resource efficiency, and ensure industrial safety. And the task of the conference is to spread the best business experience of Tatarstan across the regions of Russia and present the existing technologies and developments that can and should be used to solve problems in the oil and gas chemical industry,” Farid Abdulganiev emphasized.

The 1st international conference “Oil refining and oil and gas chemistry of Tatarstan” will be held from September 4 to September 5, 2017 on the site of STRBC Korston. The key topics of the event are:

- Review of the industry and key projects of oil refining and oil and gas chemistry in Tatarstan, Russia, and the world arena;

- Opportunities to attract investment and best practices in project management and project finance;

- PPP development, creation of strategic alliances and joint ventures in the oil and gas sector;

- Increasing the competitiveness of production through the use of advanced technologies for refineries and petrochemical plants;

- Analysis of current technological tasks for the production of large-tonnage petrochemicals and aromatic hydrocarbons.

Within the framework of the conference, the potential of the Tatarstan oil and gas and chemical industry, advanced technologies from key international and domestic engineering companies will be presented, and topical issues of attracting investments and development of the downstream industry in Tatarstan will be discussed.

Leaders and technical specialists of all refining and petrochemical industries of the republic, as well as representatives of state structures, special economic zones and research centers take part in the conference.
