A Children’s Ecological and BiologicalCenter together with the Educational Department of the Executive Committee of Nizhnekamsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department for Environment Protection hold a contest of children’s creative work“Clean forests of Tatarstan”. Contest is aimed at fostering of ecological culture in the young generation, and enhancement of pupils’ interest to historical and natural heritage of the motherland. The contest will be held from March 20 to September 1, 2015 in order to augment educational and creative activity of pupils during summer holidays.

Applications to participate in the II Regional Research-to-Practice Ecological Conferencefor junior pupils“Young naturalist 2015” are accepted on March 10 – 27, 2015at the Municipal Autonomous Educational Establishment of Further Education of Children “Children’s Ecological and BiologicalCenter No. 4”. Pupils of secondary educational establishments and further educational establishmentsfor children from 7 to 11 years of age (1- 5 forms) can participate in the conference. The work implies obligatory presence of experimental and research parts, identification of work objectives and obtainment offinal or intermediary results with regard to the set target. It is obligatory for the contestant to personally participate in experimental and research parts.

Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan

The VSpartakiade of state officials of the Republic of Tatarstan started today in Zelenodolsk at the premises of the sports complex “Mayak”.All in all, 27 teams of ministries and authorities of Tatarstan participated in the ski race. Fellow workersof the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan were rated the 6thin the team event.

Head of the South-Eastern Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Aukhatovich Malikov celebrates his birthday on March 8th. He has been working at the Ministry since May 2013.

A team of the Ministry of Ecology congratulates Albert Aukhatovich on his birthdaywishing him success in realization of the boldest plans and endeavors,unflagging vital power, family well-being and strong health for many years to come. 

A meeting with the UNIDO delegation — while it is on business trip in the Republic — was held today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The delegation included Cristóbal Vignal (UNIDO’s international evaluation consultant), Alexander Knorr (national expert), Boris Melnichuk andMaxim Eliseev – national coordinators of UNIDO’s initiatives. First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Kamalov told about work of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan and about the use of the system “Ecological map of the Republic of Tatarstan” in the Ministry’s work. Implementation of a series of joint ecological initiatives was discussed during the meeting.

Applications for participation in the international creative contest held in the frameworkof thefestival“Ecology. Creative work. Children” are to be submitted before April 1, 2015.The contest is organized by Moscow Zoo. The festival is mainly aimed at comprehension of ecological problems by childrenthrough their creative work. Poems, stories, fairy tales, plays, performances, films and cartoons based on original scripts, photos, art and applied ecology-related pieces of workare accepted for the contest.Any young citizen of Russia and other countries can participate in the contest.

On March 1, 2015 inspectorsof the Trans-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a night raid to inspect the territories offeral quarries located on the territory of Buinsk municipal district. The fact of illegal quarry development was revealed in the course of the raid at a distance of 1 km to the west of Buinsk. The protocol was drawn in compliance with Article 7.3 part 1 against sole entrepreneur I.I. Gimadeev for the use of mineral resources without an appropriate license.

By order of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, the title of honor “Merited ecological expert of the Republic of Tatarstan”was awarded tothe Head of the Department for State Ecological Expertise and Measurement of the Environmental Impact under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of TatarstanRaisa Shagidullinafor contribution into ecological safetyassurance and nature protection.
