The contest “Protected territories of my small motherland” was held in Arsk school

Fellow workers of the Northern Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the ecological contest “Protected territories of my small motherland” that was held at Novo-Kyrlayskaya school of Arsk Municipal District. Games, contests, quizzes, and eco-oriented master classes were organized for the children. The tasks of the contest included the matters related to protected flora and fauna species, specially protected natural areas, tree species that grow here and the correct way to plant seedlings. In the course of the game, the teams showed their knowledge in the field of ecology, biology, and local studies. 

 The lesson was aimed at dissemination of ecological knowledge in the young generation, fostering of responsible attitude to natural resources and the environment, as well as formation of the eco-oriented mindset.
