The Minister has also been told that the situation on the adjacent territory to the Novo-Churilinsky psychoneurological boarding school normalized. In September, new treatment facilities were put into operation here. Two years ago in the course of inspection of the boarding school territory, the Ministry of Ecology revealed violations related to discharge of sewage waters into the Bezymyznnaya River, wherein the content of pollutants exceeded permissible levels by many times. A claim was lodged against the boarding school in the amount of 13 million rubles. Today, after the new treatment facilities have been put into operation, all stock waters comply with the set norms.
Then, Farid Abdulganiev visited all the sites for extraction of mineral resources and familiarized with the course of work pertaining to the reclamation of quarries. Recently, a landfill was detected in Srednekarsinskoe village that had been formed at the place of an illegal quarry of 1.5 ha in area. The Minister made sure that the landfill was liquidated. The land was reclaimed, and a fertile soil layer was deposited, anti-erosion protective tree belts were created, and more than four thousands of seedlings of a pine and a larch were planted.
Farid Abdulganiev expressed his gratitude to the Head of Arsk Municipal District Ilshat Nuriev for the carried out work and acknowledged the necessity to implement preventive measures. “Accumulation of ecological problems in the district can’t be tolerated. Among other things, it leads to excessive spending of budgetary funds. So we all need to work more carefully on prevention of violations”, summed up Farid Abdulganiev.
