From November 11 to 27, the All-Russian Ecological Dictation will be held in all regions of Russia. Eco-dictation is an annual project aimed at the formation of ecological culture and popularization of ecological knowledge, increasing the level of environmental literacy. This year Kazan will be the main venue for the opening ceremony of the environmental dictation. The start will be given on November 11 at 10.00 in KFU.

From November 1 to November 5, Kaluga hosted the VIII International Gathering "Friends of Protected Islands" and the first semi-final of the "Ecosophy" project of the presidential platform "Russia is a Land of Opportunities". For four days, 228 eco-activists from 39 regions of Russia went through a rich program of the semi-finals, where they took part in team-building and educational events and actively worked in a volunteer action in the Ugra National Park. 38 participants representing 18 regions of Russia reached the final.

In connection with the received appeals of citizens about the discharge of wastewater into the pond located behind Karim Tinchurin park, inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry carried out an on-site inspection. During the inspection of the territory, a pipe was found. According to the letter of the Committee of External Improvement of the Executive Committee, the Kazan pipe is an accumulating reservoir of drainage water and is on the balance sheet of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Vodokanal".

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents of the Aviastroitelny district in Kazan. They complained of an unpleasant smell, presumably from the landfill of the CC "PZhKH" on Khimicheskaya Street and the enterprises of PJSC "Kazanorgsintez". Employees of the Central Territorial Administration promptly went to the Aviastroitelny District together with a mobile environmental laboratory to assess the state of the air.

Starting this year, municipal budgetary institutions of Tatarstan will be able to dispose of outdated equipment for free within the framework of the new federal project "School of Recycling: Electronics". Olga Artemyeva, Head of the Environmental Education Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, told reporters more about the project.

Today, the Higher School of State and Municipal Administration of Kazan Federal University (HSE KFU) hosted a round table meeting of the Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the heads of rural settlements. Alexander Shadrikov acted as an expert in the professional development program for representatives of local self-government bodies of municipal districts. They discussed the topic "Environmental thinking. Handling of SMW".

A regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on regulating the operation modes of the reservoirs of the Volga-Kama Cascade was held today via videoconference.

This year, Tatarstan residents have cleaned about 14 thousand km of coastal territory and collected 34 thousand cubic meters of garbage within the framework of the "Water of Russia" campaign. 455,434 people took part in these environmental activities. Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan Egor Tarnavsky told reporters about this at a press conference today.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan continues to accept applications for participation in the republican contest "ECO-leader-2022". Enterprises, educational institutions, public figures who are not indifferent to environmental problems and, of course, journalists are invited to participate. Bloggers, photographers and videographers will be able to take part in the republican contest "ECO-leader-2022" for the first time. Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Egor Tarnovsky told more about the new nominations today at a press conference with journalists.

During the monitoring of the Kamsko-Ustinsky district, inspectors of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed unauthorized storage of waste on the southern side of the village of Karatalga. The clutter area was 12,000 sq.m., the volume was 10,000 cubic meters.
