Alexander Shadrikov discussed what ecological thinking is today with the heads of districts as part of a round table in KFU
Today, the Higher School of State and Municipal Administration of Kazan Federal University (HSE KFU) hosted a round table meeting of the Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the heads of rural settlements. Alexander Shadrikov acted as an expert in the professional development program for representatives of local self-government bodies of municipal districts. They discussed the topic "Environmental thinking. Handling of SMW".
Alexander Shadrikov spoke about the main activities of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and about interdepartmental cooperation. In more detail, the head of the environmental protection agency dwelled on the issues that the heads of settlements most often address to environmentalists and how to interact in solving various environmental problems. This year, the Ministry received a large number of complaints related to garbage accumulated on container sites. How to solve the situation and how to understand the rules of waste accumulation? Representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Rospotrebnadzor and the regional operator Grint LLC also answered these questions today. They also discussed the removal of construction debris and the elimination of unauthorized landfills in the private sector. Invited experts and heads of settlements agreed that waste management issues require constant explanatory work with the population for the development of eco-culture.
