A round table on waste management was held in Kazan today. The organizer and moderator was Ilya Wolfson, a deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

Today, a delegation of the Republic of Mordovia visited the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on a working visit. Deputy Minister of Forestry, Hunting and Nature Management Alexander Sapunov and heads of departments of this department came to exchange experience. The guests were shown the work of a mobile laboratory and an automatic air pollution control station. The equipment is used for inspection of the territory of Tatarstan and rapid response when detecting violations of environmental legislation.  In total, the Ministry of Ecology has 17 automatic control stations, 5 of them are located in the capital of Tatarstan.

Within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, inspectors of the Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed unauthorized storage of solid household waste near the village of Nalasa of the Arsky district.

Lilia Mirsaitova joined the Ministry of Ecology in 2017. Her main task then and today is the daily monitoring of the ecological state of the Tukayevsky district. Landfills, illegal drains, pollution – all this is under her control and the control of colleagues.

These days, the ecological shift "Eco-dream" is taking place in the children's health camp "Dream" of the Zelenodolsk district. For 17 days, more than 100 children will take an educational course in 6 thematic areas: ecotourism, botany, zoology, social ecology, natural resources, agriculture and entrepreneurship.

From August 11 to August 18 at AAPCS-1, located at the address of the village of Osinovo Zelenodolsk district, 36 excess hydrogen sulfide and 5 excess carbon monoxide were recorded in the east, north-west and north-east wind direction.  On AAPCS-5, located in the residential district of the residential complex "Salavat Kupere" on I. Shakirov, 3, hydrogen sulfide exceedances were also recorded in the east and north-east wind direction.  Information about the recorded excesses was sent under the jurisdiction of the Department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan, the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor and the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office.

According to the received information about the pollution of the Sredny Kaban lake in the Vakhitovsky district of Kazan, inspectors of the Central Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Central Specialized Inspection of Analytical Control, carried out a field visit today.

During the monitoring of the Almetyevsk district, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed unauthorized storage of waste at a bunker site in the Kama-Ismagilovsky rural settlement. The area of the cluttered territory was 250 sq.m., the volume of the landfill was 120 cubic meters.

Venera Mingaleeva, inspector of the South-Eastern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with Gulshat Aglyamova, librarian of the Lashmankinsky rural settlement, conducted an open environmental lesson "Take care of Nature" for children of the village of Amirova Cheremshansky district.

As Marat Taran, chief engineer of the Yadran-Stroy contracting organization, told today, about 60% of the total length of all pipelines that were included in the pilot project of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan have already been dismantled. "It's about 13 km. We are on schedule even with a slight advance, so there is no doubt that we will implement this project this year," the speaker said. During the press tour, he shared with journalists the technical aspects of lifting flooded pipes.
