Monitoring stations of the Ministry of Ecology for a week recorded excess hydrogen sulfide in Kazan and Zelenodolsk district

From August 11 to August 18 at AAPCS-1, located at the address of the village of Osinovo Zelenodolsk district, 36 excess hydrogen sulfide and 5 excess carbon monoxide were recorded in the east, north-west and north-east wind direction.  On AAPCS-5, located in the residential district of the residential complex "Salavat Kupere" on I. Shakirov, 3, hydrogen sulfide exceedances were also recorded in the east and north-east wind direction.  Information about the recorded excesses was sent under the jurisdiction of the Department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan, the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor and the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office.

There were no exceedances in pollutants for the last week at the remaining AAPCS.

In total, since the beginning of the year, five automatic air pollution control stations in Kazan have performed more than 740 thousand measurements.

It should be recalled that monitoring of atmospheric air quality in the northern zone of Kazan is also carried out as part of regular visits by the mobile environmental laboratory of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, including in the evening, at night and on weekends according to residents' requests. On August 14 and 16, inspectors of the Central Department of Environmental Supervision of the Ministry of Ecology carried out visits to the residential complex "Salavat Kupere" and the Sovetsky district of Kazan together with PEL. No exceedances of the maximum permissible concentration of pollutants were detected.
