Environmentalists promptly took samples of water in the lake Sredny Kaban after reports in social networks about the pollution of the reservoir
According to the received information about the pollution of the Sredny Kaban lake in the Vakhitovsky district of Kazan, inspectors of the Central Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Central Specialized Inspection of Analytical Control, carried out a field visit today. During the survey of the territory, the fact of pollution of Lake Sredny Kaban was confirmed. In addition, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan identified several pipes that were removed through the fence of an object under construction, next to the lake.
Ecologists took water samples from the source of discharge and from the water body itself. After the results of the analysis become known, measures will be taken within the framework of the current legislation.
