185 tons of waste electrical equipment collected in Tatarstan as part of the "Recycling School: electronics"
1,617 applications were received by the Fund for Rational Environmental Management from organizations of Tatarstan for the free disposal of electronics. More than 185 tons of waste of electronic and electrical equipment have already been removed from the territory of 32 settlements of the Republic. The total number of organizations participating in the program was 547.
In terms of the number of registrations from budget organizations on the website of the Fund for Rational Environmental Management, the Republic of Tatarstan occupies a leading place among the regions that have joined the federal program.
At the request of Tatarstan residents, the recycling program for old electrical equipment has become available not only for budget institutions in the regions, but also for any individual.
By the weight of the assembled equipment for the period from September 2022 to May 2023, the Republic of Tatarstan became one of the most active regions of Russia.
Let us recall that in August 2022, within the framework of the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum, an agreement on cooperation in the implementation of environmental programs was signed between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Fund for Rational Environmental Management (Moscow Region). After the signing of the federal program "School of recycling: Electronics", it became widespread in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 2023, on the electronic platform of the Foundation, on the initiative of Tatarstan, a form for individuals became available in the participant registration field. After registration, the participant receives information with the data of the curator by e-mail.
The main goal of the federal program is to provide residents with an opportunity to transfer expired equipment for recycling in an environmentally friendly and convenient way.
It should be noted that recycling is carried out at the production facilities of the Fund for Rational Environmental Management for the recycling of electronic and electrical equipment in Lyubertsy and Saransk.
