234 violations were detected in 7 districts of Tatarstan in the Volga-Kama zone in 2023

The head of the Volga-Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology Rafis Akhmetzyanov spoke about the results of the department's work in 2023. He made a presentation at meetings with representatives of Executive Committees and heads of rural settlements of Alekseevsky, Alkeevsky, Aksubaevsky, Novosheshminsky, Spassky, Rybno-Slobodsky and Chistopol districts.

The head of the department noted that in 2023, inspectors of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration revealed 234 violations during a survey of the territories of 7 districts. 220 warnings were issued on the inadmissibility of violations of mandatory requirements of environmental legislation. 14 fines were issued, 2 damages were charged. All fines and damages were imposed in the field of waste management. The total amount of fines and damages imposed by the Volga-Kama Administration amounted to 529,385 rubles. Rafis Akhmetzyanov particularly focused on the activity of schoolchildren.

Of the 796 appeals that came to the territorial administration, 743 were received through the School Eco-patrol system, which amounted to 93.3% of the total number of all appeals.

The most pressing issue of concern to the population is still the issue of the formation of unauthorized landfills. The head of the department recalled that the sanitary two-month period starts on April 1 and called on the heads of districts and settlements to actively participate in this general 60-day eco-marathon of cleanliness.
