Today, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan hosted a traditional New Year's Eve meeting with journalists. In two and a half hours, the Minister of Ecology, Alexander Shadrikov, spoke about the global challenges that the department faced several years ago and how they have now been solved. In terms of numbers, 71.8 billion rubles have been allocated to environmental protection measures in the republic over the past seven years. More than 40 billion are funds from enterprises, and 30 billion are funds from the federal and republican budgets. Due to these funds (30 billion), possible damage of 77.1 billion rubles was prevented. Every ruble invested has paid off doubly. In the 6 years since the launch of the Ecology national project, 30 events totaling 21.6 billion rubles have been implemented within the framework of 6 federal projects.  

A government decree has been approved, which corrects the rules for creating and maintaining the state register of objects that have a negative impact on the environment (NEI).  

A meeting of the working group on climate policy and decarbonization plans of the Republic was held at the Ministry of Ecology.

Today, during his address to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin paid great attention to environmental issues. 

Ilnur Gubaidullin, First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of environmental protection, spoke about the results of last year in the field of supervisory activities.

For the period of the "Games of the Future" competition from February 19 to March 3, state inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan strengthened control over the quality of atmospheric air, surface waters, and soil. 

The project of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan "Ecology at school" became the winner in the nomination "The best educational project in the field of ecology", and the project to improve the ecological state of rivers and reservoirs of the Republic of Tatarstan was declared the best in the nomination "The best promising project and development". The winners were awarded today in Moscow.

- Kalayda Marina Lvovna - Professor, Head of Department “Aquatic Bio-resources and Aquaculture” of Kazan State Power Engineering University;

- Zakirov Rustem Kayumovich - Associate Professor of the Department “Industrial Biotechnology” of Kazan National Research and Technological University;

- Minibayev Azamat Ilshatovich - Assistant of the Department “Thermal Power Plants” of the Kazan State Power Engineering University.

Events within the framework of the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Chemical Forum continue in the international exhibition center “Kazan Expo”. In particular, today the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan has organized the XV All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference named after A.I. Shchepovskikh “Industrial Ecology and Safety”.
