During the first two weeks of the sanitary two-month period, which started in Tatarstan on April 1, environmental agencies and supervisory authorities revealed 1,371 violations. More than half of the violations have already been eliminated - 730. 298 protocols were drawn up, administrative fines were imposed for a total amount of 130.5 thousand rubles. Every second violation (693) is associated with unauthorized waste disposal, 345 landfills have been liquidated.

The XXI district ecological conference of schoolchildren "Ecology and me" for students of grades 6-11 was held  at the school named after Academician R. Z. Sagdeev in Buinsk. Ecologists of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry also took part in the conference.

Inspectors of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and educators of the Children's Ecological and Biological Center No. 4 conducted an environmental quiz for the second-graders of the school No. 2 in Naberezhnye Chelny.

In the Republic, measures are being taken to clean up the territory within the framework of the sanitary and ecological two-month period.  Among the first, activists of the youth environmental movement "It will be clean" joined it. In the first week of April, the volunteers of "It Will Be Clean" organized 16 environmental events.

Inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology conducted an ecological lesson "The Power of the forest" for the preparatory groups "Solnyshko" and "Alye parusa" of kindergarten No. 14 "Rodnichok" of Leninogorsk district.

A regional environmental seminar entitled "Ecological education of preschool children was held in the Arsky kindergarten. The development of horizons and experimental research activities". The event was attended by inspectors of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology held an educational eco-lesson on the topic "We take care of nature at any time of the year" for the pupils of kindergarten No. 38 of the village of Srednyaya Kamyshla of the Nurlatsky district. Ecologists told the preschool children about the seasons. The kids learned what to do in each season of the year to help nature. For example, plant a tree, collect garbage on the street or in the country. Some children are already helping their parents in the country to grow vegetables and take care of pets. Also, inspectors of the South-Eastern TA held an eco-lesson on forest protection for children from rural schools of the Leninogorsk district.

World Health Day is celebrated annually on April 7. This year's theme is "Health for All". This motto is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the creation of the World Health Organization. Specifically for this day, specialists of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan prepared an eco-lesson for schoolchildren of the Apastovskaya secondary school "Purity of nature is our health and the health of the whole planet". Environmentalists told how our health depends on the well-being of the environment. In memory of the lesson, the children received textbooks "Green Tatarstan".

At school No. 2 of Menzelinsk the republican festival of the peoples of Tatarstan was held. The festival was dedicated to the theme of ecological traditions.  Let us remind you that this year has been declared the Year of National Cultures and Traditions in the Republic.

Every year, an eco-conference "Ecology around us" takes place in the Shadkin school of the Tyulyachinsky district. This school was not chosen by chance, it is an innovative platform for ecological and geographical education and upbringing in the Republic of Tatarstan.
