Young researchers visited the laboratories of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan
Ecologists told the young naturalists of the "Movement of the First" how the sampling of air, water and soil takes place. Schoolchildren were given a tour of the Central Department of Environmental Supervision of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, where water, air, soil samples are analyzed, other studies and measurements are carried out. The children were told in detail about the work of the laboratory specialists, showed the equipment and devices. Also, the children were shown the technical equipment of the mobile environmental laboratory and explained the principles of its operation.
Pupils of kindergarten No. 26 of Nizhnekamsk have also visited the world of flasks and test tubes. Specialists of the Zakamsky territorial administration conducted an exciting excursion to the laboratory for the children. The children were shown how environmentalists check the quality of water, air, and soil. The laboratory specialists introduced young nature lovers to the principle of operation of the microscope and gave them the opportunity to participate in various experiments.
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, together with the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society and the regional youth public organization "Will be Clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan, has been developing the movement of young naturalists since 2018. Competitions "Young naturalist of the Year", a contest of scientific and practical works and a contest "Diary of a young naturalist" are held annually for young naturalists. The most active participants are invited to the annual gathering of young naturalists of the Republic of Tatarstan. There are already more than 2000 schoolchildren from all over the republic in the movement of young people.
