An eco-clean-up was held on the territory of the Volga-Kama State Nature Reserve as part of the All-Russian campaign "Discovering the Country". 100 eco-volunteers from 13 educational organizations of Kazan took part in it. The All-Russian action "Discovering the Country" is a marathon of clean-ups in specially protected natural territories of federal significance, organized by the Russian Environmental Operator in cooperation with the Ecosystem Movement and the Roszapovedcenter of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia.  

Inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan got acquainted with first-graders of School No. 3 and gymnasium named after M. E. Sergeyev.

The Clean Games clean-up day was held in Nizhnekamsk as part of the environmental tournament "School Cup of Cleanliness". More than 700 schoolchildren from ten districts of Tatarstan took part in the games – these are students of Agryzsky, Aktanyshsky, Elabuga, Zainsky, Menzelinsky, Muslyumovsky, Mendeleevsky, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk and Tukayevsky districts.

Ecologists of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan told students of the 5th grade of the Cheremshansky Lyceum what ecology is and how to protect the surrounding world.

In Kazan, under the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, comprehensive exercises were held to confirm the readiness of JSC "Kvart" for actions to localize oil spills and petroleum products.

We are waiting for everyone on September 6 at 11:00 on the bank of the Kazanka River on Proletarskaya st. to go to the clean-up as part of the marathon "In the footsteps of good deeds"! The cleaning will be timed to coincide with the Ecological Olympiad "Clean Heritage".

Today, on the eve of the Republic Day, employees of environmental agencies and representatives of public organizations were cleaning and tidying up on the banks of the Volga River near the village of Zaymishche in Kazan. Specialists of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor, the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Biological Resources, representatives of the Executive Committee of the Oktyabrsky rural settlement of the Zelenodolsk district, and public organizations, including All-Russian Society for Nature Protection.

Inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan held an environmental lesson on "Saving the planet together" in the Nurlat kindergarten "Pchelka" for the children of the senior and middle groups. Environmentalists shared with the guys a few rules that will help save the planet. They told the kids that it is important to save water and electricity, that every thing can be given a second life, and garbage should not just be thrown away, but learn how to sort. In a playful way, the inspectors taught the children to divide the waste into fractions.

In Nizhnekamsk, under the leadership of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, comprehensive exercises were held to confirm the readiness of the branch of JSC TGC-16 of the Nizhnekamsk CHP (PTK) for actions to eliminate the fuel oil spill.
