Today in Naberezhnye Chelny, as part of the "Water of Russia" campaign of the federal project "Preservation of unique water bodies" of the national project "Ecology", a voluntary clean-up was held on the embankment named after F. Tabeev.

As Marat Taran, chief engineer of the Yadran-Stroy contracting organization, told today, about 60% of the total length of all pipelines that were included in the pilot project of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan have already been dismantled. "It's about 13 km. We are on schedule even with a slight advance, so there is no doubt that we will implement this project this year," the speaker said. During the press tour, he shared with journalists the technical aspects of lifting flooded pipes.   

Tatarstan has joined the interregional eco-marathon dedicated to the Day of the Ecologist. The banks of the Kama, Melekeski and Shilny rivers were cleaned in Naberezhnye Chelny as part of the All-Russian ecological campaign "Ecosystem: Marathon of Green Affairs" and "Water of Russia" of the national project "Ecology". The organizers are the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the city administration.

Over the past five years, thanks to environmental measures, possible damage in the amount of more than 58 billion rubles has been prevented in the Republic of Tatarstan, environmental living conditions for 2.3 million people have been improved. This was told today by the Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers.

Tomorrow, May 20, at 9:00, a general cleaning will take place on the territory of the Admiralteyskaya Sloboda as part of the "Water of Russia" campaign of the federal project "Conservation of unique water bodies" of the national project "Ecology". The campaign is timed to the Volga Day and will be held in the format of an eco-marathon. All regions located along the banks of the Volga will come out to support Tatarstan and celebrate the birthday of the great river together. The events will be held in Ivanovo, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd, Tver and other cities, and a friendship teleconference will connect everyone!
