2 tons of garbage were collected by environmentalists and caring residents on the banks of the Kama River
Today in Naberezhnye Chelny, as part of the "Water of Russia" campaign of the federal project "Preservation of unique water bodies" of the national project "Ecology", a voluntary clean-up was held on the embankment named after F. Tabeev. 50 volunteers came to take part in the campaign and recharge. Together with ecologists of the Prikamsky territorial department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, the head of the administration of the Central District of the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny Eduard Fattakhov, the Head of the Department of Urban Economy and Life Support of the population Ruslan Vildanov, Deputy Chairman of the interdepartmental commission on environmental safety Airat Nasybullin and activists of the youth centers "Nur" and "Orion" came out to clean. In total, 2 tons of garbage were collected.
Let us recall that the Republic of Tatarstan has been participating in the All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia" since 2019 and for the second year in a row becomes the winner of this campaign organized within the framework of the national project "Ecology". Last year, more than 8.5 thousand km of coastal territories were cleared by joint efforts, 34 thousand cubic meters of garbage were collected, more than 300 thousand people took part in it.
