Issues on improving the environmental situation of Tatarstan were discussed with representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences
Today, the Ministry hosted a working meeting of the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov with representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the field of environmental safety of enterprises and the development of innovative approaches to reducing the level of anthropogenic load exerted by oil production and refining facilities on the territory of the republic were considered. Within the framework of the agenda, the possibility of implementing the project "Ecology of Industrial Cities" under the Federal Scientific and Technical Program in the field of environmental development of the Russian Federation and climate change for the period from 2021 to 2030 was also discussed.
Following the meeting, the parties outlined ways of further cooperation to improve the environmental situation of Tatarstan and the application of best practices.
