A landfill with an area of 62 sq.m. was identified on the territory of the Kirovsky district of Kazan. The violation of environmental requirements in the treatment of industrial and consumer waste became known during a commission railway detour from the station Camp to the station Admiralteyskaya Sloboda.
Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology conducted a survey of the specified territory. According to measurements, the volume of debris generated from the demolition and dismantling of buildings amounted to 31 cubic meters.
Back in early June, a warning was sent to the Administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts of Kazan about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements and eliminating unauthorized waste storage. To date, measures to eliminate the identified violation have not been taken, in connection with which the Ministry is conducting claim work.
