Today, on the Tatarstan-24 TV channel, in the Clean Tatarstan program, we talk about the Clean Air project of the Ministry of Ecology. The guests of our studio were Nikita Maslov, head of the Atmospheric Air Protection Department, Elsa Valieva, senior specialist of the Priiksky Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology, and Vadim Voloshin, Chief State Inspector of the Interregional Territorial Department of Rostransnadzor for the Volga Federal District.
It should be recalled that Operation Clean Air is carried out annually from June 1 to September 30. This year, the operation is already taking place for the 42nd time. At the moment, as part of this year's raids, employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the interregional territorial Directorate of Rostransnadzor in the Volga Federal District, have checked 1,936 vehicles. These are 1,654 cars, 166 trucks and 116 buses. Excesses were detected in 66, which is 3.4%.
Operation Clean Air is aimed at preventing the negative impact of vehicles on the state of atmospheric air in support of the national Ecology project. Inspections on the roads of the republic are continuing.
