Environmentalists are investigating the discharge of untreated wastewater into the Kamenka River

The fact that the Kamenka River suddenly turned white was reported to the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology by concerned citizens. For the purpose of inspection, inspectors and specialists from the Central Department of Environmental Supervision went to the site.

Ecologists took samples of wastewater and natural water upstream and downstream, as well as from the pipe of water users. According to the results of quantitative chemical analysis, exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants were recorded.

According to this fact, the Ministry's specialists will calculate the damage caused to the water body, as well as claims work on its compensation.
