Tatar Oil, Gas and Chemical Forum was opened in Kazan. The event is held at the premises of the exhibition center “Kazan Fair”. President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairperson of the National Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, president of the Union of Oil & Gas Producers of Russia Gennady Shmal, Deputy Chairperson of the Government of Bashkortostan Dmitry Sharonov, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov, Director General of TATNEFT OAO Shafagat Takhautdinov and others participated in the opening ceremony of the Forum.
As the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov acknowledged in his opening address, this year the forum is devoted to a special milestone event – the 70th anniversary from the beginning of the oilfield development on the territory of Tatarstan.

The order of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation as of July 18, 2013 under No. 249 «On making amendments to the Procedure of location of the sources of emission into the atmosphere of harmful substances (pollutants) liable to state accounting and standardization, approved of by the order of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation as of December 31, 2010 No. 579” has come into force. The order has also specified the Procedure of location of the sources of emission into the atmosphere of harmful substances (pollutants) liable to state accounting and standardization with regard to the sources of emission of radioactive substances.
        The order of the Ministry for the Protection of the Environment and Natural Resources of the Russian Federation as of July 18, 2013 under No. 248 “On tariff setting for burial of class 5 radioactive wastes for 2014” has come into force. The document has set the tariff for burial of class 5 radioactive wastes for an ordinary accounting regulation period, i.e. the year 2014.
            Liquid radioactive wastes liable to burial at the points of deep-earth placement that formed before enactment of the Federal Law as of July 11, 2011 under No. 190-FZ “On handling of radioactive wastes and on making amendments to individual legal acts of the Russian Federation” belong to class 5.

Today, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov participated in the celebration devoted to the Day of Knowledge in Apastovo municipal district. The Minister visited three schools, where he greeted the pupils, their parents and teachers, and congratulated them on the Day of Knowledge. The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources participated in the celebratory assembly of “Burnashevo Secondary School” that was built this year; the first bell rang for 87 pupils.

The Tatar Forum in Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals will be held from September 4th to September 6th on the premises of Kazan Fair. The forum is aimed at promotion of new technologies and equipment at the companies of oil and chemical field of Volga Region, expansion and strengthening of interregional and international business cooperation, assistance in development of scientific potential and industrial scientific programs.

Today, large-scale Saturday work is being held in Russia. Sixty six constituent entities of the Russian Federation joined the “Green Russia” campaign. Subject to the Order of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and its territorial subdivisions coordinate and arrange the campaign. Nature protection campaign “All-Russian Saturday Work – Green Russia” is held in all cities and districts of the Republic. Fellow workers of various companies (“Tatneft” OJSC, “TAIF-NK” OJSC, “Kamaz” OJSC, “Tatelecom” OJSC, “Generating Company” OJSC, “Kazancompressormash” OJSC, “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” OJSC, “Naberezhnochelninsky KBK” OJSC, and so on – all in all, more than a hundred of companies), self-governing authorities, medical and educational establishments, as well as population take active part.
