Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan

The Tatar Forum in Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals will be held from September 4th to September 6th on the premises of Kazan Fair. The forum is aimed at promotion of new technologies and equipment at the companies of oil and chemical field of Volga Region, expansion and strengthening of interregional and international business cooperation, assistance in development of scientific potential and industrial scientific programs.

This year it will unite the four most important industrial exhibitions, including:

- 20th International Specialized Exhibition “OIL. GAS. PETROCHEMISTRY” that has been included into three largest regional oil and gas exhibitions in Russia, and that is important for development of economics, technological infrastructure and technical re-equipment of companies of the Russian oil, gas and chemical complex.

- 8th Specialized Exhibition “Ecotechnologies and equipment of the XXI century” devoted to the Year of Environmental Culture and Nature Protection in the Republic of Tatarstan;

- 4th Specialized Exhibition “Plastics & Rubber» is the only regional event that demonstrates advanced achievements with regard to production of artificial rubber, tires, plastics, synthetic resin, as well as chemical and pharmaceutical products;

- 3rd Specialized Exhibition “GEO-KAZAN: Exploration Department. Geodetic Surveying. Cartography” is an exhibition project aimed at creation of favorable conditions for development and application of innovation geological and geophysical methods for search and exploration of natural resources, as well as development and implementation of the newest geo-informational developments and technologies.

The Tatar Forum in Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals will be working for three days as an active business platform, and the following events will be held in its framework:

- September 4-6th, the International Research and Practice Conference “Issues of enhancement of efficiency of exploration of advanced oil deposits”.

- September 4-5th, the International Metrological Conference “Burning issues of metrological ensuring of measurement of the flow rate and amount of liquid and gases”.

Organizer: Federal State Unitary Enterprise “All-Russian Scientific and Research Institute of flow measurement”;

- September 4th, Research and Practice Conference “Main Tendencies for development of petrochemical and petroleum refining industry sectors”.

- September 4th, Round Table “Expansion of the use of petrochemical products of republican production in capital construction” with participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

- September 4th, Round Table “Expansion of the use of petrochemical products of republican production in road construction” with participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

- September 4th, Contest for the best showpiece, project or technical solution.

- September 6th, VIII Interregional research and practice conference “Industrial ecology and safety”.

Organizer: Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan;

- September 6th, II research and practice conference “Burning problems in geodesy and geo-informational systems”.

Organizers: Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Republic of Tatarstan, State Unitary Enterprise “Center of information technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan”, Kazan (Volga) Federal University.

- September 6th, Business meetings of industrial engineers, mechanics and power engineers of companies in order to build prospective partnership relations, conclude contracts between Tatar and Russian companies.

More than 1800 delegates from Russia and abroad, including scientists, heads of the leading industrial companies, experts representing oil-gas-chemical, instrument-making, machine-building, electronic and other fields of industry, as well as representatives of ministries and departments will participate in the Forum.
