On March 2, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov met with the citizens in the South East Territorial Branch of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in the city of Almetyevsk.

As part of environmental education to the young generation, the state inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan met with the pupils of Municipal Educational Institution “Peschaniye Kovali secondary school” of Laishevo district in Peschaniye Kovali rural library on February 28.

The VII Kama Innovative Industrial Forum-2012 was opened in Expo-Kama Exhibition Centre, Naberezhnye Chelny, on February 29. All-Russian exhibitions with the international participation of “Oil. Gas. Chemicals. Ecology-2012”, “Tyres. Rubbers. General mechanical rubber goods-2012”, “Trans-Kama Energy-2012”, “Nanotechnologies in industry-2012”, “Industrial safety-2012” will be held within the frame of the Forum.

Today the minister of ecology and natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov met with the representatives of the Austrian delegation concerning interaction with UNIDO on the project «Detection, estimation and gradation of the water bodies pollution centers for transferring of environmentally-appropriate technologies».

Today the session «Urgent problems of environmental safety» as part of II International scientific and practical conference «Modern problems of life safety: theory and practice» has been conducted in the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan.

An extraordinary meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Environmental Safety, Nature Management and Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare in the Republic of Tatarstan has been recently held in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. The meeting with the agenda “Innovative Technologies for Utilizing the Sediments of Treatment Facilities” was chaired by the first deputy minister of ecology and natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Kamalov.

The solemn opening ceremony of the carbonic acids department was held at the Mamadysh Distillery on February 24th. This department will allow solving two issues at once, which are processing of carbon dioxide obtained during alcohol production that earlier was emitted into the atmosphere and using carbonic acids in the production of non-alcoholic beverages.

On February 28 the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan will arrange the workshop “Pressing challenges of environmental issues” as a part of the Second International Research and Application Conference “Contemporary issues of life safety: theory and practice”.

On February 22 a meeting was held on the results of the Northern territorial administration activities in 2011, with the involvement of Ravil Kuzyurov, the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on investment and innovation.

Today, the session of the Social Council being the first this year was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The issue “On approval of the activity plan of the Social Council under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2012” was brought up for discussion at the session.
