The solemn opening ceremony of the carbonic acids department was held at the Mamadysh Distillery on February 24th. This department will allow solving two issues at once, which are processing of carbon dioxide obtained during alcohol production that earlier was emitted into the atmosphere and using carbonic acids in the production of non-alcoholic beverages.
Tatspirtprom JSC currently conducts the technical re-equipment of key assets at the Mamadysh Distillery, thus solving the issues of environmental safety in compliance with the requirements of the legislation in force. The re-equipment includes utilizing the by-products formed in the process of alcohol production. Notably, carbonic acids emitted in the process of fermentation will be used to produce carbon dioxide.
Technical re-equipment of the dry fodder yeast department allowed reducing the emission of polluting substances into the atmosphere as well as to decrease:
- Natural gas consumption 19.4 times;
- Electric power consumption, 9.5 times.
