Opening of the session «Urgent problems of environmental safety»

Today the session «Urgent problems of environmental safety» as part of II International scientific and practical conference «Modern problems of life safety: theory and practice» has been conducted in the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Minister of ecology and natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov, the Minister of nature management and ecology of the Republic of Bashkortostan Azat Kutliahmetov, the director of the Institute of environment and mineral resources problems of the Academy of sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Rifgat Shagidullin and the deputy minister of environmental protection and natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Andrej Kalajda were the session moderators.
The international conference «Modern problems of life safety» is another step in creating effective system of environmental safety as a component and essential condition of life safety in the Russian Federation.
Scientists and professional ecologists representing the regions of the Russian Federation as well as some states of the near abroad took part in the session work.
Opening speech was made by the minister of ecology and natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov.
The minister of nature management and ecology of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ufa, made a report «Improvement of solid domestic wastes management system in the Republic of Bashkortostan».
16 reports on various aspects of ecological safety in various areas of life activity have been heard and discussed in the session.
