In November-December, 2012, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan organizes the All-Russia Youth Competition of Social Ecological Advertising “Clear View”.
Today Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, laid the first stone into the foundation of a new complex of high refined heavy still bottoms of oil refinery “TAIF-NK”, OAO, in Nizhnekamsk. Artem Sidorov, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in ceremony.
Today, Artem Sidorov, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Administrator of Almetyevsk Municipal District visited Almetyevsk and took part in the opening ceremony for a parking lot near the shopping center “Panorama” in Lenina street, and inspected residential houses liable to capital repairs.
On November 12, a round table on “Environmental and food safety” will be held at 10:00 at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in the framework of the workshop “Life safety” of the Republican Youth Forum.
The All-Russian Conference with international participants “Green technologies as a way to solve the problems regarding climate change and environmental conservation” was held at the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation with participation of the Head of the Department for the State Environmental Expertise and Standardization of Environmental Impact under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Raisa Shagidullina.

The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov took part in the round-table meeting “Effective management of water resources: problems, tasks, tentative solutions”, organized by the Federal Agency for Water Resources in the framework of the 3rd International Forum “Clean Water”. The meeting was led by Director of the Institute of Water Problems under the Russian Academy of Sciences Victor Danilov-Danilyan, Head of the Federal Agency for Water Resources Marina Seliverstova and Vice-chairman of the Board for Assessment of Productive Forces, Head of the Department for the Problems of Nature Management and Ecology Anatoly Shevchuk.

The First Republican Environmental Youth Forum “Ecovolna” took place from October 31 to November 1 at the Youth Center “Volga” with participation of the Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Andrey Kalayda. Public environment-oriented organizations for children, students and youth, representatives of state authorities, as well as public and academic figures took part in the Forum.
The Children's Ecological and Biological Center No. 4 under the aegis of School No. 25 of Naberezhnye Chelny with the support of the Cis-Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, “Low Kama” National Park, and “Technologie-Eco” LLC carried out XVI Regional Scientific and Practical Ecological Conference of School Students “Ecology, City and We”.

Today Sergey Donskoy, the Minister for Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, visited Almetyevsk where his meeting with Shafagat Takhautdinov, Director General of Tatneft ОАО, took place. Artem Sidorov, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, also took part in the meeting. Within the framework of this working visit the following issues were discussed: subsurface resources management, future ultraviscous oil reserves development, and economic stimulation of small oil fields development.
