The First Republican Environmental Youth Forum “Ecovolna” took place in Tatarstan

The First Republican Environmental Youth Forum “Ecovolna” took place from October 31 to November 1 at the Youth Center “Volga” with participation of the Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Andrey Kalayda. Public environment-oriented organizations for children, students and youth, representatives of state authorities, as well as public and academic figures took part in the Forum.
The Forum program included plenary sittings, discussion platforms and workshop sessions.
The Forum aimed at support and development of ecological movements of the Republic of Tatarstan, enhancement of efficiency of the activities devoted to fostering of ecological awareness of youth and population in general. The event was organized by the Tatar Regional Division of the All-Russian Youth organization “Russian students’ teams” with the support of the Public Youth Chamber under the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin spoke at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was dedicated to the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and environmental work plans for 2026 within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being".
Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
