The School Students Conference “Ecology, City and We” in the Cis-Kama Territorial Department

The Children's Ecological and Biological Center No. 4 under the aegis of School No. 25 of Naberezhnye Chelny with the support of the Cis-Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, “Low Kama” National Park, and “Technologie-Eco” LLC carried out XVI Regional Scientific and Practical Ecological Conference of School Students “Ecology, City and We”.

The event was carried out for ecological movement activating both in the city and in the region, for the experience exchange in the sphere of environmental investigation and protection among pupils demonstrating interest both to research activities and to studying of the subjects of the natural course.

The results of school students educational and research activities in 2011-2012 were summed up at the conference. Pupils from educational institutions of Yelabuga, Nizhnekamsk, Mamadysh cities as well as from Nizhnekamsk and Tukayevsky districts took place in the conference. Research works were presented by pupils from 25 educational institutions of Naberezhnye Chelny.

The work of the conference was divided into 6 sections:

- “Plant Ecology”;

- “Environmental Research of the Territories”;

- “Ecology and Health”;

- “Reservoirs Ecology”;

- “Young Researcher”;

- “City Ecology”.

The Cis-Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan organized “Cleanliness Lesson” film watching for the participants of the conference.

In total within the framework of the conference 52 works were given a hearing.

Winners and prize-winners were awarded with first, second, and third places diplomas and prizes.
