Very soon, the whole country will celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Inspectors of the Zavolzhsky department conducted a two-month survey of the Drozhzhanovsky, Kaibitsky and Tetyushsky districts. As a result, several unauthorized landfills with a total area of 81 square meters were identified in the villages of Malaya Tsilna, Novoe Drozhzhanoe, Bolshye Kaibitsy, Kushmany and Tetusha towns.

Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov spoke about the implementation of measures to reduce anthropogenic pressure on atmospheric air in the Republic of Tatarstan at a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan today.

Since the beginning of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, which started on April 1 in Tatarstan, 268 illegal landfills have been identified. This was announced at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan today by Ilnur Gubaidullin, First Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chief State Inspector of the Republic in the field of environmental protection.

Today, as part of a briefing on the progress of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, Alexander Shadrikov invited all residents of the republic to join the main spring clean-up, which will be held on April 26 in Kazan in the Birch Grove.

Inspectors of the Southeastern Department conducted an educational eco-lesson for primary school students of Cheremshan school No. 2 named after S. A. Larionov.

 

During the inspection of the territory of the city of Chistopol, inspectors of the Volga-Kama Department revealed unauthorized waste storage near the container site on Markin Street. The total area of the contaminated site was 100 sq. m., the volume of 1 cubic meter.

Environmentalists have issued a warning to the Executive Committee of the city of Chistopol about the inadmissibility of violating environmental legislation and the need to eliminate landfills within 60 days.

A large-scale environmental campaign "Clean Forests of Tatarstan" has been launched in the republic in support of the national project "Ecological Well-being".

Since January 1, 1,382 applications have been received by the Republican Public Environmental Reception, 873 of them have been resolved.

In 2022, inspectors from the Ministry of Ecology revealed a violation: Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Communservice" drained wastewater with excess pollutants from sewage treatment plants. As a result, a stream in the village of Aktanysh, Aktanyshsky district, was polluted.
