The staff of the Ministry of Ecology expresses its sincere condolences in connection with the passing away of the outstanding scientist and teacher Rushan Sabirov.
Rushan Mirzovich devoted his life to the study of biology and ecology, having worked his way up from a talented student at Kazan University to a recognized specialist and leader. His many years of scientific activity, including as a member of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan, fruitful pedagogical work and active participation in public and expert councils have become an example of high professionalism and dedication to his work.
He has been a member of the Scientific and technical Council of the Ministry for more than 10 years, and has repeatedly headed the expert commissions of the State environmental assessment department for construction projects and justification of limits on hunting resources in Tatarstan.
Rushan Mirzovich has educated entire generations of scientists and specialists, many of whom today make significant contributions to environmental science and practice.
We share the pain of loss with the family and friends of Rushan Mirzovich and express our words of support and sympathy.
His bright memory will live on in our hearts and in our environmental causes, which he helped to realize.
