Results of atmospheric air monitoring in the Republic of Tatarstan for June 2025

30 June 2025, Monday

Since the beginning of 2025, 17 automatic air pollution control stations have performed more than 1.6 million measurements. Of these, 571,000 measurements were carried out by five stations located in Kazan.

In June of this year, the AAPCS-5 automatic station located in the Salavat Kupere residential complex in Kazan recorded 9 excess concentrations of hydrogen sulfide with a maximum multiple of 2.55 MPC.

To determine the sources of pollution, experts from the Ministry of Ecology carried out calculations of dispersion during the routine operating modes of enterprises in Kazan. The results showed that the sources of enterprises subject to state federal environmental control make the greatest contribution to the concentration of hydrogen sulfide. The information has been sent to the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor and the Department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Republic of Tatarstan for action.

No excess of the maximum permissible concentration of pollutants has been recorded at the remaining automatic control stations this month.

The Ministry of Ecology informs that the measurement data of the AAPCS on the Environmental Map of the Republic of Tatarstan may be temporarily unavailable due to the diagnosis and repair of equipment.
