As part of the monitoring of the Tukayevsky district, inspectors from the Kama Department revealed violations of environmental legislation in the field of industrial and consumer waste management.

From March 12 to March 14, 2026, on the basis of the health and educational complex "Baytik", a personnel school on conservation business "Zapovedny Tatarstan" was held. The participants of the intensive course were 40 schoolchildren and students from 12 districts of the republic, as well as Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny, who passed the competitive selection.

A meeting of the primary trade union organization was held at the Ministry of Ecology today. Yulia Nikolaeva, Chairman of the trade union, made a report on the results of work for 2025 and plans for 2026.

The Ministry of Ecology hosted an annual chess tournament among female employees. Six representatives of the department took part in the intellectual competition, who demonstrated strategic thinking, attentiveness and sports passion.

Today at the Popov technopark in Innopolis an expanded meeting on the results of the work of the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor for 2025 was held. The event was attended by the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, and the head of Rosprirodnadzor, Svetlana Radionova. Tatarstan Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin also took part in the board.

Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin took part in a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the Kazan Digital Week-2026 International Forum.

Kazan Agrarian University hosted a meeting of inspectors from the Ministry of Ecology with university students who study at the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology. 

The Arbitration Court of the Republic of Udmurtia granted the claim of the Ministry of Ecology and ordered the violator to pay almost 13 million rubles for damage caused to nature. The trial lasted from 2023 and, following the results of the trials, the decision was made in favor of the Ministry. 

A panel session dedicated to the development of specially protected natural areas was held as part of the educational intensive "Reserved Tatarstan", which is held in support of the national projects "Youth and Children" and "Environmental well-being". The key topic of discussion was the republic's experience in restoring the population of the Saker falcon, one of the rarest endangered birds of prey.

The ecological and educational project "Reserved Tatarstan" from the regional youth environmental public organization "It will be clean" has started today. 40 schoolchildren and students gathered at the recreation and educational complex "Baytik". The project is being implemented thanks to the grant support of the President of the Russian Federation provided by the Presidential Nature Foundation.
