Within the framework of the campaign “Let's Clear Our Planet Away From Garbage” the specialists of the Trans-Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the pupils of the Children Ecological and Biological Center carried out a labor campaign on cleaning the suburban forest of the 20th residential district of Nizhnekamsk.
For the purposes of support and development of environmental movements in the Republic of Tatarstan, enhancement of efficiency of their activities aimed at fostering of ecological awareness of youth and the population in general, the Tatar Regional Department of the All-Russian Youth Association “Russian Students’ Teams” will hold the first Republican Environmental Youth Forum “Ecovolna” in cooperation with the Youth Public Chamber under the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Forum will take place from October 31 until November 1, 2012 under the auspices of the Youth Center “Volga” of Laishevo Municipal District.
The Government of the Russian Federation approved of the state program “Environmental protection” for the years 2012-2020, elaborated by the Ministry for the Protection of the Environment and Natural Resources of the Russian Federation

Last week, an excursion to the Trans-Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was held for the pupils of the Children’s Ecological and Biological Center in Nizhnekamsk in the framework of a scientific project “Health of My School”.
On November 6-7, 2012, non-profit partnership “Russian Water Society” with the support of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation holds the 3rd International Forum “Clean Water” in the World Trade Center in Moscow.

Last week, on October 15-19, one of the leading experts of the International Union for Conservation of Nature Mr. Kalev Sepp – professor of the Estonian University of Life Sciences, dean of the “Ecology and Environmental Management” faculty visited the Republic of Tatarstan.
On October 20, in “Boxing and Table Tennis Center” table tennis tournament took place within the framework of the Spartakiad of executive and state bodies employees of the Republic of Tatarstan.
On October 19, in the village of Pelevo, Laishevo district, the Republic of Tatarstan, within the framework of the ecological project “Let's Recover Springs Together” the ceremony of the spring opening took place. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan acted as a partner of the campaign.
The general excursion organized for the 4th year students of Kazan State Technical University took place in the Central Specialized Inspection for Analytical Control of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan (CSIAC)

Today in the territory of the Municipal Budgetary General Education Institution “Gymnasia No. 7” of Kazan City, “Earth Charter” Public Park opening took place. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan acted as a partner of the event. The park was opened at the initiative of the Gymnasia No. 7 of Kazan City with the support of the Institute for Sustainable Development, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, the International initiative “Earth Charter”, and the All-Russian non-government organization “Center of Ecological Policy and Culture”.
