International scientific conference “Ecological history in Russia: stages of establishment and projectedtrends of researches” will be held in Elabuga on November13– 15, 2014. The event is organized by Kazan Federal University with the assistance of the European Society for Ecological History. The event is aimed at analysis of development of historical and ecological approach in the Russian historiography during the last decades, its modern state and prospects.In the framework of the conference it is planned to present the leading international magazine“Environment andHistory” issued by the European society for ecological history.

The IV International forum“Climatic change and ecology of industrial city” will be held on November 12-14, 2014 in Chelyabinsk.The project is aimed at creation of favorable conditionsfor maintenance of existing business contacts and creation of new mutually beneficial bonds between participants of the market of ecological ad energy-saving innovations.In the framework of the forum it is planned to discuss the issues on application of ecology-related legislation, the process of making profit from implementationof ecological and energy-saving innovation technologies. The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the 3rd Open Republican Youth Contest of Social Ecological Advertisement “Clear view” will be held on November 28, 2014. The contest is held by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in order to engage the population in solution of nature protection problems, and to give a chance to young people to have a possibility to express their attitude to this or that ecology-related problem.

Table tennis contest was held on November 9, 2014 in Kazan in the framework of the Spartakiade of the state and municipal officials of the Republic of Tatarstan in the universal sports complex “Mirax”. The team of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was rated the 10th.
