Sports underwater hunting competitions will be held on the Volga

Sports underwater hunting competitions devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory will be held on June 11 – 13thin the waters ofthe Volga River in the district of Zaymische village. OrganizersoftheeventincludetheSubwaterActivityFederationof the Republic of Tatarstan, Voluntary Association for Assistance to Army, Air Force and Navy of the Republic of Tatarstan, “Marine meeting of the Republic of Tatarstan” LLCtogether with administration of Kirov and Moscow districts of Kazan. Thecompetitionsareheldintheindividual/teamevent.

Thecompetitionisaimedatinvolvementofcitizensin applied military sports, popularizationofunderwaterswimming, as well as identification of the strongest sportsmen in theRepublic of Tatarstanduring the 2015 season.

These are open competitions, and any sportsmen over 18 years of age are welcome to participate. Sportsmen from Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, Yekaterinburg and cities of the Republic of Tatarstan willparticipateinit.

Inspectors of the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in oil spill response exercises
