The world campaign "Car Free Day" will be held on September 22nd to  remind people of the negative influence of vehicles on the environment and to urge people to think over the idea to use alternative transportation means, for instance public transportation or a bike. The All-Russian campaign on cleaning of the coastlines of water bodies "Water of Russia" will last until the end of September. The event is held within the framework of the Federal target program "Development of the water economic complex of the Russian Federation in 2012-2020". The coastlines of small rivers and water bodies are cleaned from June 1 to September 30, 2016. The ХI All-Russian Research to Practice Conference "Industrial Ecology and Safety" named after Anatoly Ivanovich Schepovskikh will be held on September 7 at 10 am at the Kazan Fair in the Conference Hall "Kama" in memory of the First Minister for Nature Protection in the Republic of Tatarstan. Year after year the event is held by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the Tatar Oil, Gas and Chemical Forum.

All who are not indifferent to the ecology-related matters are invited to participate in the Contest of Educational and Research Projects on Environment Protection carried out within the framework of the program "Youth - for the nature of Moscow". The event is held to promote participation of the youth in solution of ecological problems, and its involvement in research and practical nature protection activity. Categories of creative pieces of work:

- suggestions on solution of ecological problems (ideas, inventions, projects, and programs);

- research projects (monitoring, studying, and assessment);

- projects on ecological enlightenment, education and social advertisement (video spots, leaflets and so on).

On the Knowledge Day, ecological specialists participated in the solemn lineup of the specialized remedial secondary boarding school No. 4 in Kazan. The campaign started with the welcoming word of the leading specialist of the Department of Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elena Gilmizyanova. "This year is a special year for the boarding school that celebrates its 50th anniversary. The III Republican contest “School eco-patrol” started in Tatarstan. Thecontestisheldforthethirdtime. The idea of the contestlies in the fact that each pupil with a mobile phone can register landfills during leisure time and send the photosthrough a filter of the call center of the Ministry of Information and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan where they generate statistics on each pupil, form, school, and municipal unit.  Supervisory measures will be taken by nature protection authorities
