Studentsfrom Zainsk demonstrated knowledge in nature protectionto Head of media company “NovyVek”

Conservation of the gene pool of the biosphere, the ecosystemsstability, the continuity of the cycle of substances. These and other topics were discussed at Zainsk school No. 5 during the ecology lesson held with the participation of the General Director of the TV Company “NovyVek” (New Age), the deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan IlshatAminov, the head of the district RazifKarimov, and the employees of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the lesson it was noted that every kid can contribute to the preservation of the water bodies of our republic or to protect its lands from littering. Only in Tatarstan, for the students of schools, gymnasiums, and lyceums a unique mobile application “School Eco Patrul” has been developed. With this system, it is possible to place messages about areas of unauthorized waste disposal and information on the facts of discharge of industrial and domestic sewage onto the terrain. All schoolchildren who are not indifferent to environmental issues can participate in this contest, thereby helping to identify violations of environmental legislation and receive awards. The ecological lesson is timed to the Year of Ecology and Public Spaces in the Republic. The goal is to attract the attention of the younger generation to the issues of environmental protection, the formation of an ecological outlook and care of water as a vital resource.
