4 March 2017, Saturday

Therules of safe behavior on the nature were read to the students of the Tenkov secondary schoolon the eco-lesson. The event for children was held by the Deputy Minister for Civil Defense and Emergencies of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolai Surzhko and Deputy Head of the Executive Committee on Social Issues of the Kamsko-Ustinsky District Elena Sorokovnina.

“The environment and man are two interdependent concepts that complement each other. The state of nature directly depends on people’s activities. Drinking contaminated or clean water, breathingpolluted or freshair, stroll through garbage or green parks – the person can decide itself. But at the same time, the consequences of the negative human impact on the environment are reflected in human health and safety. Camping fires left in forests, cigarette butts, or even glass bottles and cans can take the lives of not only humans, but also wild inhabitants. Therefore, when interacting with nature, it is necessary to observe the rules: never leave garbage, light bonfires, pollute natural objects”, the lecturers told.

During the open lesson, the students demonstrated their knowledge in ecology and human security. Analysing specific situations, they demostrated the relationship between man and nature, called factors that adversely affect the ecology of nature. Children also proposed solutions to improve the environmental safety of the region.

At the end of the event Elena Sorokovnina noted that such ecology lessons play an important role in educational work with children. Schoolchildren should understand the importance of environmental problems, be ready to address these issues.
